Érico dos Santos Érico dos Santos lives and works in Sáo Paulo (Brazil); he is founder (in 2008) and chair of the Comité Desportivo GLBT (CDG), an NGO working for the health and human rights for LGBTs and friends though sports. The CDG does not only promote sports, but also also cultural events and tournaments, diversity festivals, and advocates acceptance towards the LGBT athletes and participants, while celebrating diversity and participation.CDG BRASIL unites the athletes with the objective to promote events in an environment where people could participate completely free of all discriminatory situations. Meanwhile, the CDG has also branches in Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Manaus, Fortaleza and Bahia. The CDG has made a bidding for organising the 2018 Gay Games in São Paulo 2018. After the conference, Érico dos Santos participated in seven sports events of the Antwerp OutGames. During the conference, he participated in a couch session. |
