Giulio Maria Corbelli Giulio M. Corbelli (Gallipoli Italy, 1966) studied engineering in Pisa, where he discovered theatre and worked as an actor until 2000, when he decided to stop and think, study, work and live. Before moving to scientific journalism, he was director of Gay and collaborated as well with the magazines Pride and Babylon. He worked together with the Association The Other Face Gay Lesbian Lucca and the Tuscany Pride Committee in 2004. Currently he works and lives in Rome and is actively dealing with issues related to scientific medical research, in particular with HIV and AIDS. He is press officer for Anlaids News, the house organ of the most important Italian NGO working on AIDS. In 2010, he directed the film + 0 - Il sesso confuso: Raconti di Mondi nell' Era AIDS. He is a member of the European AIDS Treatment Group. At the Antwerp conference, Giulio M. Corbelli facilitated the workshop on health in the LGBT world. |
