Phyll Opoku-Gyimah![]() She's been elected to the Department for Work and Pensions' black members advosry group and its LGBT advisory group. She is also a board member of Justice for Gay Africans which focuses on Human rights, equal rights, challenging racism and discrimination. Phyll voluntary endeavours lead her to be nominated as Woman of the Year at the Black LGBT Community Awards 2007. She is a mother, a daughter, a mentor and a partner and is kept busy in many ways. Phyll Opoku has always had a passion for organising events that empower and celebrate the diversity within the black community. Phyll Opoku participated in one of the so-called couch sessions at the Antwerp conference. |
