Dutch project: LGBT and the workplace
Financially supported by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences, the
Netherlands Trade Union Confederation FNV in co-operation with
Company Pride Platform, started a project about LGBT workers and the workplace. Its goals are to:
- survey the problems in the workplace atmosphere for LGBT workers; and to develop products, services and measures to improve this atmosphere and enhance the creation of networks;
- establish the causes of failure or success for company-based networks involved in LGBT activities;
- develop a digital network of expertise on LGBT issues, storing and providing information on experiences, best practices, projects and products.
